Goals, Vision and Outlook

The Department of Agriculture of the Faculty of Agriculture has played a constructive and leading role in Iran's agricultural sciences in its scientific activities in functional dimensions and many scientific-research aspects. This group currently has 7 faculty members. The group's future attitude towards agricultural production relies on the foundations of eco-friendly production and related environmental aspects, and on the other hand, it seeks to create comprehensive perspectives and an integrated approach to agricultural production. Therefore, it seeks to implement a kind of interdisciplinary integration and education in the group and teach aspects of agricultural production that rely on preserving basic resources, increasing the efficiency of input consumption, and protecting the environment, and climate change and global warming will be the focus of this group's educational and research activities. Without a doubt, this group, as the initial core of the formation of the Faculty of Agriculture, from which many of the current groups were established, is of the opinion that the integrated education and gathering of disciplines that will begin from this group can be the beginning of a transformation in the agricultural education system in this faculty and, consequently, throughout the country.
