Goals, vision and perspective

Considering the vastness of Iran and the variety of weather conditions, the Department of Food Sciences & Technology of Zabol University has focused on the development of food industry in the southeast of the country. In addition to the vital importance of safety in food industries, these industries must be able to produce products that can be exported while obtaining maximum customer satisfaction. The training of specialized forces based on the latest scientific achievements of the world can be the basis for the prosperity of the food production industry.

Based on this, the Department of Food Sciences & Technology, according to its ten-year development plan, intends to increase the number of full-time faculty members to twelve, and recruit students in all majors and doctoral degrees. Also, in order to improve the education level of the students of the Department of Food Sciences & Technology, the laboratory space has been extended to four equipped laboratory units including: food technology, food microbiology, food analysis and advanced food tests, as well as the construction of an equipped food pilot in It is taking action.
