Higher education in Sistan began in 1980 with the establishment of an agricultural school. After the cultural revolution, in 1984, vegetable production was established and in 1988, the field of livestock production was established. In 1990, this educational school was converted into a college according to the needs of the region, and since 1991, it accepted students in bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Agriculture. Now this faculty includes 8 educational Departments that attract talented students in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
