Holding a National Conference on Hafez Day "On the Shrine of the Holy One" at the University of Zabol

On the occasion of Hafez Shirazi's National Day, the National Hafez Conference entitled "At the Shrine of the Beloved" was held on the evening of Saturday, November 2, 1404, in the International Conference Hall of Zabol University.
The Deputy Minister of Culture and Social Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Social Affairs, members of the university's faculty, staff, a group of students, artists, and regional cultural activists were present at this cultural ceremony.
Dr. Vahid Shalchi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Social Affairs of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, emphasized the passion and enthusiasm of the Sistani youth for Iranian culture and literature on the sidelines of this ceremony and stated: Holding the Hafez commemoration ceremony at Zabol University is a manifestation of cultural dynamism, the vitality of the spirit of literature and art, and the deep connection between the young Sistani generation and the enduring heritage of Iran.
He added: This magnificent and inspiring program showed that the new generation of the country is interested in the cultural and literary values ​​of Iran and is taking steps towards preserving them.
Dr. Mohammad Rakuei, the president of Zabol University, also emphasized the importance of implementing cultural programs and said: Since last year, organizing prestigious cultural programs has been on the agenda of Zabol University. This university considers its inherent mission to promote the religious, cultural, and social identity of the region and organizes the commemoration of cultural figures such as Ferdowsi and Hafez with the aim of familiarizing the people of Sistan with their cultural background in order to strengthen their connection with their identity roots. The cultural atmosphere of the “Bar Astan Janan” conference was accompanied by the display of works of Iranian art and regional authenticity. On the sidelines of this program, an exhibition of calligraphy by Zabol professors and handicrafts by Sistani artists was held, which displayed a manifestation of the region’s authentic art and lasting heritage. Also, according to the university’s annual tradition, Hafez’s fortune-telling was distributed among the attendees and a number of participants were awarded exquisite cultural awards.
