About

Art is directly related to creativity and innovation. Art is a combination of human-made works or processes that are created to affect emotions, feelings, and human intelligence or to convey a meaning or concept. It can also be added that art is the ability and skill to create beauty. The Faculty of Art and Architecture of Zabol University was established in 2002 by the efforts of Dr. Habibollah Dehmardeh, the then president of the university. The faculty's educational activities began in the second semester of the 2002-2003 academic year with the admission of students to the associate degree in archaeology and architecture, and then in the second semester of the 2002-2003 academic year, it began accepting students to the bachelor's

degree in restoration of historical monuments and also to the non-continuous bachelor's degree in architecture. With the admission of students to the bachelor's degree in architectural engineering in 2009 and the bachelor's degree in urban planning engineering in 2010, this faculty now has five educational departments, along with the acting department. It is worth noting that the Department of Architecture in the field of Iranian Architectural Studies, as the first postgraduate field of the faculty, has been accepting students to the master's degree since October 2012. The faculty succeeded in establishing a master’s degree in archaeology in 2021, and in 2022, it received permission to admit students to a master’s degree in urban planning. The faculty currently has 5 academic departments, including architecture, conservation and restoration of historical monuments, urban planning, performing arts, and archaeology. Nestled in the center of creativity and innovation, our Faculty of Art and Architecture is an active community where the future of built and cultural environments is imagined and shaped. Join us as we embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and artistic expression.
