Department of Architecture

Welcome to the Department of Architecture at the University of Zabol, where we blend creativity with practicality to shape the environments we live in. Our vision is to nurture innovative architects who are ready to address the challenges of the modern world.

The Department of Architecture at the University of Zabol first began admitting students at the associate degree level in February 2002. Then, in 2003, the department added a non-continuous bachelor's degree program. Finally, in October 2009, with regard to the quantitative and qualitative growth of the university, the field of Architectural Engineering replaced the associate and non-continuous bachelor's degree programs in architecture.

Additionally, from October 2020, the Department of Architecture, with the authorization of the Council for the Expansion of Higher Education, began admitting students in the field of Iranian Architectural Studies as the first major of the Faculty of Arts and Architecture at the master's degree level. Currently, the Department is trying to establish a Master of Architectural Engineering for admission from October 2025.

We take pride in our diverse and motivated student community. Since our establishment, we have been at the forefront of architectural education in the Sistan region, evolving with the times while maintaining a profound foundation in design principles.
