Publishing an article about an innovative system for utilizing wind energy along with a cold storage process in the prestigious journal Scientific Reports
According to the Public Relations Department of Zabol University, an article by the faculty members of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the university was published in the prestigious journal Scientific Reports of the Nature Subgroup Publication Series entitled "The optimum sizing of zero-emission water-cooled VCR cycle based on exergo-economic-environmental assessment criteria by triple-objective MPSO". This article was published by Dr. Seyedeh Mohaddeseh Miri (Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Engineering and Technology), Dr. Alireza Hosseinpour (Assistant Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology) and in collaboration with researchers from Iran (Ferdowsi University of Mashhad), Ukraine, India, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. In this research, an innovative system for utilizing wind energy along with the process of cold storage was proposed. To determine the optimal size of the equipment, two optimization stages were used with the help of artificial intelligence tools, and all effective exergo-economic-environmental criteria were considered. The payback period for the proposed optimized system is 41% shorter than that of conventional systems, while the efficiency is improved by about 100%. In addition, about 20% savings are achieved in the size of the storage equipment.
