Two doctoral theses from Zabol University selected in the list of top theses by the Iranian Ministry of Science

In order to evaluate and identify the best research in the country, the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology has selected the best doctoral theses this year. Among them, two theses from Zabol University have been included in the list of the best theses of the Ministry of Science, which indicates the high quality of the research conducted at this university.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Science, the best theses have been selected from more than 120 theses and dissertations from universities and higher education centers across the country. These selections have been made according to criteria such as innovation, scientific impact, and relevance to the needs of society. In an official letter, the Ministry of Science has emphasized the importance of these achievements and announced that supporting top and targeted research is a fundamental step towards the scientific development of the country.
The two selected theses from Zabol University are:
1. Thesis of Ms. Torajzadeh, PhD, supervised by Ms. Halimeh Piri, entitled:
"Investigation of the effect of different levels of biochar and nano-biochar on the quantitative and qualitative performance of quinoa under different salinity and drought regimes".
This research investigates new methods for improving the performance of quinoa under adverse environmental conditions such as salinity and drought and provides solutions for increasing productivity in agriculture.
2. Thesis of Ms. Montazerinejad, PhD, supervised by Dr. Suluqi and Dr. Imamjoma, entitled:
"Transcriptomic identification of alternative splicing isoforms involved in cluster density of Yaqooti grapes in Sistan".
This research investigates the molecular mechanisms effective in cluster density of grapes and helps to identify gene isoforms related to this phenomenon using advanced transcriptomic methods.
These successes not only demonstrate the efforts and capabilities of students and supervisors, but also testify to the position of Zabol University in the field of scientific and applied research at the national level. The Ministry of Science continued its letter with the hope that by supporting such research, we will witness an improvement in the country's research situation and the achievement of higher scientific goals in the coming years. By achieving this achievement, Zabol University has taken another step towards improving its position in the country's higher education system.
