Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Zabol University and Sistan Free Zone Organization

Sistan Free Zone and Zabol University signed a memorandum of understanding in order to establish and expand mutual understanding and cooperation in education, research and technology.

According to the Public Relations Department of Zabol University; Dr. Rokuei, President of Zabol University, Dr. Ahmad Ali Kaykha, Dr. Behrouz Kashtegar, Dr. Ghanbari, Dr. Suluqi, Dr. Sarhadi and Dr. Sargazi, attended the Sistan Free Trade and Industrial Zone and met with Hossein Sanjrani, CEO of the Sistan Free Trade and Industrial Zone Organization, and got acquainted with the region. They also signed a memorandum of understanding.

Dr. Rokuei, President of Zabol University, said in the meeting: We will use all the capacities of Zabol University to establish favorable relations and implement educational and research projects in the Sistan Special Economic Zone.

Hossein Sanjrani, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Sistan Free Trade and Industrial Zone Organization, continued the meeting by stating: This memorandum includes cooperation and participation in the field of research projects, holding scientific and educational classes, exchanging information and holding scientific and specialized workshops.

Referring to the goals of this memorandum, he added: Entering into educational and research issues in the specialized fields of export, import and customs affairs is one of the goals and programs of the Sistan Free Trade-Industrial Zone, and measures are being taken to better participate and be effective in this area.

The CEO of the Sistan Free Zone Organization continued: Signing the memorandum of understanding on scientific, research and technology cooperation with the university will strengthen the link between industry and university and promote mutual promotion.

He emphasized: Using the efficient forces of the university can lead to further development of Sistan industry and double the speed of progress in the region.

The CEO of the Sistan Free Zone Organization noted: Establishing cooperation and documented relations between the University of Zabol and the Sistan Free Trade-Industrial Zone in the field of innovation, technology and cooperation activities in the direction of developing technical knowledge, taking into account all the facilities and capacities, including existing technologies, and improving the quality of education is intended in the memorandum.

He stated that those interested in working in this field will be fully supported and continued: Free zones belong to all people. There must be comprehensive protection, security, and cooperation so that this work can be carried out more quickly. Hopefully, in the next step, we will complement each other in the discussion of markets and the measures will proceed in such a way that we will witness an increase in the volume of trade and sustainable employment, and along with that, industrial companies will also be revived. Sanjarani concluded by saying: The country and the Sistan region have great potential. With the free zone, reverse migration will take place in this region, and the future of Sistan will be very bright and we will witness a boom in employment there.
