Zabol University Performing Arts Student Shines at the Third "Puppet House" International Puppet Show Festival

The puppet show "Khorma Bozi" directed by Kowsar Samaramiri, an instructor at the provincial Children and Adolescents Intellectual Development Center and a student of the Performing Arts Department at Zabol University, brought another honor to the university by winning top titles at the third international television puppet show festival "Aroosak Khooneh".

In this edition of the festival, which was held in partnership with the Sima Children and Adolescents Center and the "Tehran Doostdashtni" campaign, 112 domestic works and a number of international works were evaluated, and the "Khorma Bozi" play was able to make it to the top 20 among domestic works.

This play represented Zabol County in the Iranian ethnic section and managed to win the statuette for the best work in this section. Also, Tubi Samani, Kiana Samaramiri, and Kowsar Samaramiri received the festival's honorary diploma for their creative use of indigenous elements in the design and construction of the puppets, decor, and space.

The awards for this group were presented to them by prominent figures in the field—Iraj Mohammadi, Amir Feizi, Reza Mehdizadeh, Mohammad Loghmanian, and Popak Azimpour.

Zabol University congratulates Ms. Samare Miri, the university’s performing arts family, and the Sistan and Baluchestan cultural community on this well-deserved success, and wishes them continued success in this honorable endeavor.
